33 New Referees Graduate from Junior Referee Clinic
Submitted By lcampbell on Tuesday, October 30, 2007
The Seaforth Junior Referee Clinic held Sunday, October 28th was a great success with 33 graduates in all, including five from Seaforth Minor Hockey.
Joining the ranks of the black-and-white stripes are Luke Harrison, Cody Bennewies, Travis Jansen, Randy Murray, and Andrea Roundtree. These five are now eligible to officiate in Seaforth Minor Hockey House League games and will move up in the rankings each year. Other graduates represented a number of other centres including Mitchell, Tavistock, St. Mary's, Ilderton and Goderich.
For those wanting to participate in next year's junior clinic, it will be held in Goderich. You must be 14 years of age by the end of 2008 to participate in that clinic. Get your name in early as the Seaforth clinic was full by late September.
Seaforth Minor Hockey congratulates the graduates for a job well done. A special thanks to the clinic's main sponsors New Orleans Pizza in Seaforth and Mitchell; and Pizza Train in Seaforth. Many thanks to Seaforth Public School for the use of the classroom and A/V equipment.
