Hockey Day in Canada= Hockey Day in SEAFORTH!
Submitted By lcampbell on Monday, January 18, 2010
Hockey Day in Canada is fast approaching, Januaray 30th is just a couple weeks away and many communities are gearing up for the big day, including SEAFORTH!

Seaforth Minor Hockey is not going to let the day pass without honouring the day in true hockey style!
Our Fundraising Committee is currently working overtime to prepare numerous activities to celebrate the day, and will kick things off with a FABULOUS breakfast at the community centre. So be sure to grab your friends and family and bring them down for a great breakfast and be sure to take in a few of the Saturday morning House League games while you are there! This program has been flourishing this year under the direction of House league convenor Jeff Campbell and the great Coaches and players in the House League system, so please take the time after or before breakie to enjoy your first or second cup of coffee in the stands cheering on this great group of kids and coaches!

The Fundraising Committee has also arranged for a cable feed in the hall during the day for the fans to take in the NHL games that will be going throughout the system, so you can enjoy the game on the big screen they have arranged while enjoying a beverage, and also some take in a meal for a minimal fee.

The day is filled with games in our own Arena from 3:15 on you can see a number of our own teams playing, so we will be looking for the stands to be full with many of the Seaforth FANS to cheer on our Home Town teams to victories in their respective games. The Atom LL start the games off as mentioned at 3:15 and the Juveniles will close Hockey Day in Seaforth play with their best of 5 Series with Game 3 vs Mt Forest Ram at 8:45. All games will be sure to be great match ups and with the Hall open for food and drink between periods and games, we have made sure we have met the needs of all of for the day!

Keep your eyes on the Stars site for more details!

And make sure to mark HOCKEY DAY IN SEAFORTH at the SEAFORTH ARENA on your Calendar for JAN. 30th, 2010!
You won't want to miss it!
