The Huron East Centenaires have relocated from Goderich (formerly the Pirates) and are set to make their Huron East debut on Oct. 4 at the Seaforth and District Community Centres. The name “Centenaires” is the name that had been dedicated to the former Junior D team in the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA), who played in Seaforth from 1975 through 2002. The team won the OHA Cup, the OHA's Junior D championship, in 1985-86.

The 2014/15 Huron East Centenaires will compete in a loop with Milverton, Tavistock, Monkton, Petrolia, Tillsonburg and the Clinton Radars.  A team web-site is in process and you can follow us on twitter at @centshockey and on Facebook by searching “Huron East Centenaires SR AA Hockey Club”

The Centenaires season opener starts at 7:30 p.m. against the Milverton 4 Wheel Drives at the Seaforth arena onOct. 4.  There will be a ceremonial puck drop, as well as a few in-game special events and a bar will be set up in the upstairs hall.
