Concussion Program Expanded to include Younger Players (Ages 5-10)
Submitted By Craig Metzger on Wednesday, September 27, 2017
Seaforth Minor Hockey is pleased to announce that baseline testing as part of SMHA's Concussion Management/Prevention Program has been expanded to include our younger players, ages 5 through 10. This means all SMHA players 5 years and older now have access to baseline testing.

This program extension has been made possible due to the introduction of a specialized baseline test for younger ages (validated for the 5-10 year old age group) and the financial contribution of McKillop Mutual Insurance to SMHA's concussion program.

Players in the 5-10 year old age group (2008 through 2012 birth years) should contact either Dr. Heather Percival ([email protected]) or Dr. Kim Blok (Optimal Health & Chiropractic: [email protected]) to set up a time for their baseline test or if they have further questions.
