First Month Report
Submitted By Nicole Devereaux on Monday, November 2, 2020
Now that we’ve been back to hockey for a month the SMHA executive team wanted to provide the organization with an update.

As of right now we are waiting for our rosters and game bubbles to be approved by WOAA. We are hopeful that we will see approval soon, at which time we can start scheduling games. Stay tuned for more info to come!

Issues or Concerns

If you have an issue or concern, please voice that to the executive rep for that specific age group. As a reminder when you do have an issue or concern we ask that you allow a 24 hour cooling off period PRIOR to sending the email. A complete listing of executive reps can be found here:

Seaforth Arena

As a reminder to all parents and players. You cannot enter the arena earlier than 15 minutes prior to your ice time. Please continue to follow COVID 19 procedures such as mask wearing, social distancing and following the directional signage. We must continue to follow all these guidelines so our kids can continue to play hockey! Please share these reminders with your spouse or anyone else that may bring your child to the arena.

Unfortunately, the Executive team has made the difficult decision that team pictures will be too difficult to facilitate this year given the COVID 19 guidelines and restrictions. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Organizational Changes

Mark Wilson has decided to step down as president of SMHA, he will remain on the Executive Board as a Director effectively immediately. Please help us by thanking him for his time spent as our President of Seaforth Minor Hockey. Going forward any issues you would have directed to him should be sent to [email protected]

Thank you to everyone that has volunteered their time this year to make this hockey season a success.
