2015-2016 Details, Seasons (Seaforth Stars Minor Hockey)

Each team will play three games.  The two teams with the most points (2 for a win, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss) will play for the Championship game.

In the event of a tie in points the tie breakers will be

1.  Head to Head competition
2.  Goal Differential
3.  Goals Scored
4.  Goals Scored in final game, then second game, the first game if necessary.

In the event of a tie in the Championship game, five minute sudden victory overtime, followed by a three player best score shootout, followed by single rounds of shootout.

SKILLS COMPETITION:  This is a pay to play opportunity for all interested players to participate in our skills competition fundraiser.  There will be more information regarding this on the Saturday of our tournament.

The Doug Perkes Memorial PeeWee Local League Tournament is in memory of Doug Perkes, who passed away in June, 2009. Doug was an avid sports person who felt the best way to stop good kids from making bad choices was to involve them in team sports. In his memory a fund was established to financially aid local youths who otherwise would not be able to play hockey by paying all or a portion of their registration costs. The proceeds from this tournament continue to augment the fund allowing more youths to experience the joy of sport.
