Novice Stars go out with a bang!
Submitted By Scott Kirton on Monday, March 10, 2008
The Novice Stars ended their playoffs on a positive note, defeating Mildmay 3-2 on Sunday.   Unfortunately, the Stars record after the round robin was 1 win and 3 losses, not good enough for them to continue on to the finals.

On Saturday Seaforth lost to Mildmay 3-1, but bounced back and played an awesome game on Sunday. This game was Mildmay's only defeat of the round robin. The Stars all played a great game. Charlie Garrick scored the winning goal about halfway through the third period, while goaltender Ryan Govier and his defensemen kept the puck out of the Seaforth net to hold on to the hard-fought victory. Scott Chisholm and Jared Smith also scored for Seaforth.

Thank you to all the families and fans of the Seaforth Novices for your support this season.
