Peewee Reps go 4 and 1 in League Play since Mitchell Tournament
Submitted By bmorton on Tuesday, December 8, 2009
Seaforth Stars Peewee Reps continue to stay on track, winning 4 of their past 5 games. The victories came against the Teeswater Otters, Minto Mad Dogs, Mildmay Monarchs and the Wingham Ironmen. Seaforth's only loss in this 5 game span came against the Drayton Defenders. With only 4 regular season games remaining, Seaforth is currently sitting with a record of 7 - 2 - 1 for a total of 15 points.

Seaforth 2, Teeswater 1 - sometimes you have to be lucky to be good and Seaforth proved that when they scored with only 2:21 left in the game on a deflection in front of the Teeswater net. Goal scorers for the game were Wil M. and David M. Assists going to Isaac B. and Jesse S.  Great goaltending was provided by Jared A.

Seaforth 6, Minto 3 - scoring goals for Seaforth this night were Jordan P., Austin H., and Jake C.  Assists went to Jake N., Jordan P., Wil M., and Liam MCameron M. was between pipes and played a good game.

Seaforth 6, Mildmay 2 - Seaforth jumped on the board early and often in the first period scoring 4 goals. Not to be outdone, Mildmay kept pace scoring 2 of their own. After playing a scoreless 2nd period, Seaforth put the game out of reach with 2 goals in the 3rd, making the final 6 - 2. Scoring goals for Seaforth were Jordan P., Jake C., and Austin H.  Assisting on the goals were Wade L., Isaac B., Jake N., and Jake F. Jared A. was steady between the pipes making some key stops when needed.

Seaforth 1, Drayton 4 - Drayton's speed proved to be too much for Seaforth this night as they were able to get on the board twice in the first, once more in the second and then again in the third. Seaforth could only reply with one goal as the Drayton goalie made some crucial stops. Scoring for Seaforth was David M. with an assist going to Jake F. Even though the score was not in Seaforth's favour, Cameron M. made some big stops to keep Seaforth within reach.

Seaforth 5, Wingham 0 - once again Seaforth jumped on the board in the 1st period and didn't look back. The boys scored two goals in 2nd and then 2 more in the 3rd making the final 5 - 0 in favour of the home team.  Earning the shutout was Jared A. Scoring goals for Seaforth were Austin H., Liam M., Jake F. and Wil M. Assists go to Liam M., Austin H., Isaac B., Josh R., Jake N. and David M.

The boys have only 4 games remaining in their regular season against Milverton, Minto, BCH and Mildmay. Throw in the Silver Stick Tournament being held December 27th to 30th and there is lots of hockey to be played in December.
