Submitted By Julie Campbell on Saturday, January 18, 2014
With alarm clocks ringing at 5:30 am, the Atom LL took to the ice in Melvindale, MI against the Mentor Cardinals. Cardinals opened the scoreboard at 5:05. Kohen Adams follows with a quick back hand to the top corner of the net, ends the first tied. Back and forth game. Kohen with a hard shot at 6:17 that bounces off goalie blocker into the net, putting us up by one. Kohen found the top corner again at 2:48 put Seaforth up by two. Defence did fantastic clearing out the puck while the forwards pushed the puck hard. Twelve minutes in the third with no goals. Seaforth takes victory number two! Christian DeJong held the net strong with over twenty shots. Rest now and prepping for game three.
