Submitted By Craig Metzger on Friday, February 7, 2020
The Doug Perkes Memorial Tournament is in full swing with all teams having played 2 of their 3 round robin games on Friday - a day that saw 16 games played and 4 Shoot-out Preliminaries.

Today saw the usual variety in games with several high scoring games as well as lower scoring contests. All 16 teams had a couple team photos taken in their dressing rooms (photos available by clicking here). The leaders in each division after Day 1 include:

Division    Leader
                                Devereaux    Blyth-Brussels Crusaders
Driscoll    Lucan Irish
McIlwain    Lambton Shores Predators Black
O'Reilly    Lambton Shores Predators Red

All team scores and standings are available by clicking here.

The Shoot-out Challenge contest began with 120 participants competing for the title of "top sniper" or "top puck stopper" in preliminary rounds at the Hensall and Seaforth arenas. The list of shooters and goalies advancing to the Shoot-out Challenge Finals being held Saturday at 1:40 pm in Seaforth is available by clicking here.

Best of luck to all teams as they finish their round robin games and move into the play-off portion of the tournament.
